Fall Suede

For whatever reason, those of us who wear suede usually reserve it for a fall indulgence.  I’m not sure if it’s because the leaves and grasses start to change from bright green to earthy, more subdued tones, or if it’s because we start to notice more dust and dirt on the sidewalks and streets this time of year, but there’s no doubt about it: it’s suede’s time to shine, figuratively speaking.

The suede on these new Olive Dundee’s that we’re offering for fall is such a beautiful, rich texture that I couldn’t resist taking these boots out and about.  In Chicago, IL and Cedarburg, WI these past couple weekends I’ve begun to experience the cooler temps and my perennial favorites: the smell of caramel apples and cider, and the sight of pumpkins and corn in farmers markets.  They say actions speak louder than words, but I also would argue so do pictures, which is why I’m letting the pictures do the talking this time.
